Notes
The volume of the right channel was a little lower than the left. I adjusted it 0.51db (106.06%). This was the only processing done to this recording. Disc II and Disc III can be reassembled seamlessly. There was no mic location info on the source dat but I would guess that this recording was done fob because there is not a lot of crowd noise and omni capsules were used. I would like to thank wklitz for loaning me his dats.

Try it yourself. Don't change any levels or volume. Just click on the same song and listen to it here and there.

Also to note the Playin in the Band, a much hear for any Brent fans, its wonderful.
Overall I love this show, the whole thing. I really like how strange 1988 sounds, and no its not just me I have heard this before. Maybe it was something the band was into at the time a certain sound, but listen to 7/15, 7/16, and 7/17/88 for more examples of this "style" of dead.
I have heard others say they're "playing strange" but always in a good way. I read an interview once an Garcia had said the he was "just getting back to 100% after the coma" so maybe that's why.
Subject: Cool show...
Believe it or Not is a cool tune...good late Jerry pathos.
Subject: What a Find!
Stayed in the same hotel as Phil on the beach in Monterey. The first set is rather staid, though a nice jam at the end of Cassidy and a solid Deal close.
The second set is oh so good. A great Rider from a great Crazy Fingers. The Playing gets wild with thrashing Brent, and a rare closing verse. I've always favored this Playing with BCT 4/19/86 as I attended. Drums/space are very psychotic for an outdoor show. Gimme Some Lovin' thunders and this reading of Believe It or Not makes me wonder why this tune got left behind. Too much potential.
I lost my decent sounding set II and set I was a huge upgrade for me. So happy to hear this almost 20 years to the day. I am opening my radio show with Cassidy through Drums this week. Peace.
Subject: As good as it gets.
